How to make a Zucchini Kootu Curry

                            One time, my husband bought mistakenly zucchini as a cucumber 🥒 in the market. After that, I found this is zucchini, not a cucumber. Aah!, don't know what recipe to do with this😨.
                              After a search on the internet, I found the zucchini is one type of summer squash and loaded with a pack of benefits such as weight loss, good for vision, bone health. Mostly, Here, they made a salad like a cucumber. So I made this like a cucumber Kootu curry. Hmm!, the taste was outstanding and that day itself; I placed Zucchini Kootu Curry as the main menu for one day in a week. Ingredients for making Zucchini Kootu Curry:

          • Zucchini - 1 no
          • Green chilies - 2 no
          • Tomato - 1 no
          • Sambar powder - 1 tsp
          • Mung dal - 1/4 cup
          • Salt - add as per required
            For grinding:
          • Coconut shredded - 1/4 cup
          • Chilies whole - 4 no
          • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
          • Jeera - 1/2 tsp
          • Garlic cloves - 2 no
            For seasoning:
          • Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
          • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
          • Ural dal - 1/2 tsp
          • Curry leaves - 1 spring
          • Onion - small size 1 no

How to make a Zucchini Kootu curry recipe:

                                In a pan, add 1 tsp oil, chopped zucchini, green chilies, small size tomato, and saute well for five minutes, then add 1 cup of water. Close the lid and cook zucchini until it turns soft. Add boiled mung dal and grind mixture (Grind the 1/4 cup coconut, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp jeera, 3 red chilies, 2 garlic cloves mixture in the mixie as an opposite mode. It should be a coarse texture), 1 tsp sambar powder, required salt and 1 cup water, cooked well for five to ten minutes. For seasoning, add  1 tbsp coconut oil to the pan. Once it's hot, add 1/2 tsp mustard, 1/2 tsp urad dal, 1 spring curry leaves. Once mustard crackles, add 1 small size onion and saute well until it's changed to translucent. Now add the seasoning mixture to the Curry. Hmm, Hurray!!! the Zucchini Kootu Curry is ready!!!!

Step-by-step pictures for making zucchini curry:

Add 1 tsp oil to the pan.
Add zucchini, 2 green chilli,1 small size tomato in the pan, and saute well for five minutes.
Add 1/2 cup of water.
Closed the lid and cook until zucchini turns soft.
Add boiled 1/4 cup mung dal.
Grind the 1/4 cup shredded coconut,1/2 tsp jeera,1/2 tsp turmeric powder,3 whole chilies, 2 whole garlic in the mixie as an opposite mode. It should be a coarse texture.
Add a coarse coconut mixture to the pan.
Add 1 cup of water.
        Add 1 tsp sambar powder
Add the required salt to the pan.

For seasoning, add 1 tbsp coconut oil in the pan.
Once it's hot, add 1/2 tsp mustard,1 spring Curry leaves,1/2 tsp urad dal to the pan. 
 Once mustard crackles, add onion and saute well until it's changed to translucent.
Now add the seasoning mixture to the pan and mix well.

Green Coriander Chicken Gravy

                         When I was working in Bangalore, we went to the bhagini andra restaurant for a dinner party. There I like to order Green coriander chicken gravy.  its taste was good and well suits with rice, chapati, roti, etc.                          I am very eager to make this recipe so I started to searching many videos on youtube at last I made this recipe from the vahrehvah channel.
