Sponge Holder using Milk Can

WELCOME TO RAEIMA'S PASSION

I want the holder to keep sponge pad and scrubber in the kitchen sink, but it's too costly in the Netherland. So I am planning to make this using waste material.

Usually, I buy two milk cans in a week, so I am using those cans for many purposes especially storing grocery items in the Storage container and Craft Organizer and Sponge holder in the sink.

For more craft ideas, please click the CRAFTS button on my home page, click the PASSION GUIDE button on my home page for all info about my blog.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

      • Milk can
      • Pen
      • Scissors
      • Candle
      • Iron rod for punching holes

INSTRUCTIONS:

      • Measure 2 inches from the bottom of the can and draw a line as per your requirement.
      • Cut the can as per measurements using scissors.
      • Switch on the candle.
      • Show the tip of an iron rod in the flame.
      • Make holes in the bottom of a container using the hot iron rod.
      • I want to hang holder in the sink, so I made two holes in the can's top and tie it using the rope(avoid this step, if you don't want to hang).

INSTRUCTIONS WITH PICTURES:

Measure 2 inches from the bottom of the can and draw a line as per requirements.

Cut the can as per measurements using scissors.
Switch on the candle 🕯️ and show the tip of an iron rod in it.
Make holes in the can using the hot iron rod.
Make a hole in the can's bottom as per your requirement.
I want to hang a holder in the sink, so I made two holes in the top of the can.
Tie it using the rope (avoid this step, if you don't want to hang).
I made many holes in the can's bottom because it's used to drain the excess water from the sponge pad and scrubber.
